My new Dell XPS M1730
Scarcely bought a new Dell XPS M1730 2 months ago. This thing screams.....even with vista installed. Id friendship to see how much faster it is with XP or with 2 hard drives in RAID 0. It currently has a dual heart 2.6Ghz intel processor, 2GB of 667Mhz RAM, 7200RPM 120GB toilsome drive, and GeForce 8700 graphics card. I expect to upgrade the RAM to 4GB and run 2 Seagate 200GB 7200RPM hard drives in Blitz 0. If you are looking for a great high preformance laptop or a desktop replacement, this is the one you scarcity. It weighs 10+ pounds and is built like a hunk so dont plan on hauling it around with you everywhere you go. It can get heavy after a while. The battery survival sucks....1hr...

NEW XPS 630 ESA firmware and software instructions
Let's start from haphazard using only the retail Nvidia ESA 6.02 software since our new ESA software is still in testing. This retail Nvidia ESA software seems to be the most permanent on my XPS 630.
* Download 6.02 to your desktop
* Download the XPS 630 1.0.5 bios to your desktop
* Run the 1.0.5 bios
* When finished, restart the PC
* Go into Direction Panel- Add or Remove Programs and unseat the following -
nVidia ESA Performance
nVidia ESA System Update
nVidia ESA nVMonitor
* When finished, restart the PC
* Run the downloaded nvidia system tools 6.02
* When finished, restart the PC

* Download the XPS 630 System Utilities ESA Swami I/O A00 Firmware 20 to your desktop
* Double-click the column DELL_SYSTEM-UTILITIES-ESA_A00_R189609.exe that you previously saved to your desktop
* By delinquency the firmware file will be unzipped and saved in C:\dell\drivers\R189609 with a filename of XPS630-FW-A00.hex
* Start the Nvidia Command Panel. It can be run from the main operating system oversight panel or the Start Menu under Nvidia Corporation- Nvidia Authority over Panel
* Click Custom Watch
* Click Define Custom Hope
* Add checks to everything
* Click OK
* Under Performance, click Take End User License Agreement
* Click Approve
* Click Custom View
* Click Establish Custom View
* Add checks to everything
* Click OK
* If not ope, click the + by System Update
* Click on Update your ESA Firmware
* Click the Thumb button and browse to C:\dell\drivers\R189609
* Click on the XPS630-FW-A00.hex categorize
* Click Ok
* Click the Load FW button
* The LEDs will strobe to pick up again to their default color
* The update is now finalize
* Restart the XPS 630 when finished
* You will develop the same firmware update instructions for the x-rev firmware XPS630-FW-X01.hex if I sent it to you in an email. If you did not get the email, on the sly message me
